The Yaeyama Visitor’s Bureau (General Corporate Judicial Person) is organized into the municipal offices of Ishigaki City, Taketomi Town, and Yonaguni Town and the Okinawa Prefectural Government Yaeyama Office, the Yaeyama Regional Association of Municipalities, and Ishigaki City Tourism Exchange Association, the Taketomi Town Tourist Association, and the Yonaguni Town Tourist Association. The organization endeavors to heighten the promotion of tourism in order to grow the tourist industry and attract visitors. Its goal is to advance the development of tourism, and in conjunction, contribute to economic growth, resident welfare, and cultural enhancement in the Yaeyama area.
